Project Manager - Offshore / Transmission Projects
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join a growing offshore transmission project portfolio, delivering technically complex, large‑scale infrastructure projects. This role supports the development and delivery of multiple work packages within a regulated environment, with strong emphasis on governance, integration, and assurance.
The Role
Reporting to a senior project lead, you will support the end‑to‑end management of offshore transmission projects, ensuring consistent delivery in line with a Large Capital Project Governance Framework. You will work closely with package teams and cross‑functional stakeholders to drive coordination, readiness for decision gates, and effective performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Support project integration management across multiple packages, ensuring alignment, consistency, and timely delivery.
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to maintain effective communication and collaboration.
Act as a governance and assurance SME, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor project performance, milestones, risks, and issues, producing clear and concise progress reporting.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across the project portfolio.
About You
Proven experience delivering technically complex, large capital projects, ideally within energy, transmission, or offshore environments.
Background in engineering, construction, or project management, supported by a relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
Strong understanding of project governance, reporting, and assurance within a regulated setting.
Experience integrating multiple project packages and managing diverse stakeholder groups.
Knowledge of engineering and construction activities, including health, safety, and environmental legislation (e.g. CDM 2015).
Demonstrable people management capability and a strong commitment to safety.
