Downing Renewable DevelopmentsDowning Renewable Developments (DRD) is a renewable development team, responsible for identifying suitable renewable energy project opportunities and then undertaking the required grid connection, land agreement and planning processes to obtain successfully developed projects. Following the development phase of the projects, they will then be constructed and operated long term.
Role and responsibilitiesAre you enthusiastic about renewable energy and looking to play a key role in delivering major construction projects? We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Glasgow‑based Renewable Construction team.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating resources, meetings, and project information to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of multiple renewable construction projects. You’ll support the planning and organisation of all project activities, ensuring they are completed within the agreed time frames, budget, and scope.
Project Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate project resources, meetings, and information to support the successful delivery of renewable construction projects.
- Maintain regular communication with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Organise, attend, and actively participate in project and stakeholder meetings.
- Prepare presentation materials and ensure timely communication of key updates.
Documentation & Reporting / Financial tracking
- Prepare and deliver progress reports, including schedule updates, and support the Project Managers with all budgets related financial activities.
- Document all project activities, including inspection records, daily updates, change orders, and as‑built documentation.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, accessible, and compliant with required frameworks.
Project Delivery Support
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and tracking of tasks.
- Provide administrative and operational support across the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project deadlines and ensure all actions and tasks are followed up and completed on time.
- Undertake project‑related tasks required to support successful delivery.
Risk & Issue Management
- Identify and assess project risks or issues, proposing solutions where appropriate.
- Work with project managers to support mitigation actions and maintain project stability.
