Site Engineer; Temporary

Position: Site Engineer (Temporary)
We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our team on a large-scale civil engineering project in Glasgow. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of site engineering functions, ensuring works are set out accurately, completed to specification, and delivered safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Setting out and surveying works using total station and GPS equipment

* Reading, interpreting, and checking engineering drawings and specifications

* Monitoring levels, dimensions, and quality of works in progress

* Assisting in resolving technical issues on site in coordination with project engineers and management

* Liaising with site and project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project objectives are met

* Maintaining accurate records, reports, and as-built surveys

* Supporting compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements

* Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)

* CSCS card

* Proven experience as a Site Engineer on large civil or infrastructure projects

* Proficient in the use of total stations, GPS, and other surveying instruments

* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings

* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills

* Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and performance

Desirable

* First Aid or additional safety qualifications
