My client is seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in Glasgow. You will be part of a well-established environmental engineering contractor delivering ground investigation and geotechnical projects across the infrastructure, construction, and energy sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical site experience while developing your technical and professional skills.

As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with and supervising ground investigations and site works
  • Logging soil and rock samples in accordance with industry standards
  • Supporting Phase 1 and Phase 2 site investigations
  • Liaising with subcontractors, clients, and project teams
  • Collecting site data and assisting with factual reporting
  • Ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are met at all times

You will receive full training and mentoring from experienced engineers, with clear opportunities for progression within the business.

Essential Criteria
  • Degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Willingness to work on site and travel as required
  • Full UK driving licence (or working towards)
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • Must be based within a commutable distance of Glasgow
