Infrastructure Azure Engineer

Overview

Based in our Glasgow Head Office, GAP Hire Solutions is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer in our IT Department to grow, manage and optimise cloud infrastructure while ensuring its security and performance. The role holder will collaborate with the team to optimise systems transitioning to Azure and will be part of the team responsible for the design and implementation of the cloud infrastructure.

They will manage, monitor and secure GAP's cloud infrastructure, ensuring the protection of company data.

• Grow, manage and optimise cloud infrastructure in Azure with a focus on security and performance.
• Collaborate with the IT team to optimise systems transitioning to Azure.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Manage, monitor and secure GAP's cloud infrastructure and protect company data.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in an Azure Infrastructure role.
• Knowledge of Azure AD, AWS, Power Shell, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
• Experience in Azure Networking (VLANs, Gateways, IPsec VPN, Express Route to MPLS), Azure Network Policies, Azure migration planning, storage and backup, Azure Ops, Security and Architecture.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to remain calm during busy periods and meet tight deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
