As an Electrical Design Engineer
, you'll:

• Design HV Substations and Electrical Infrastructure up to 132kV
• Prepare design packages including cable schedules, schematics, ADMD calculations, and battery charger sizing
• Develop Single Line Diagrams and detailed protection and control design specifications
• Design HV cable systems using manufacturer data and analysis software
• Undertake preliminary design studies looking at load flow and fault levels
• Carry out earthing designs using Excel and CDEG's

• Degree qualified or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years in HV/Electrical Design positions
• Strong technical knowledge of power engineering
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information
• Postgraduate qualification in Power Systems is advantageous
• Full UK driving licence & Right to Work in the UK
• Chartered or working toward IEng/CEng (IET)
