A LP&C Manager is sought by this reputable and established renewables developer who develop, finance and operate a range of Renewable Energy & Energy storage assets across the UK. Joining the Development Team, you will lead key aspects of the planning process for its rapidly growing portfolio of energy infrastructure assets.
The successful LP&C Manager will play an essential role in the development of projects, alongside project management, grid and land colleagues, and will be responsible for leading the planning elements of each site, ensuring the projects remain viable, consentable and buildable.
The developer currently has over 2GW of projects the development pipeline. Their ambition is to scale this portfolio significantly and they’re well placed to do so having raised significant DEVEX capital.

Location – The Land Planning & Consent Manager role is remote first, with a small hub located in London. Sites are to be establised nationwide so there is an element of travel required.
Role and Responsibilities- Undertaking planning appraisals of potential sites.
- Overseeing & advising on the planning strategy for each site,
- Input to draft scheme development, including physical parameters of the proposed development.
- Preparation and submission of EIA Screening / Scoping Requests and Pre-Applications to the local planning authority.
- Offer guidance on planning matters to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Engagement and presentation to local stakeholders, including attendance at public exhibitions.
- Attendance at meetings with the local planning authorities and continued engagement with appointed case officers and statutory consultees.
- Preparation (or review if done externally) of Design & Access Statements, Planning Statements and EIA reports.
- Attendance of planning committees and reviewing of Committee Reports and draft planning conditions.
- Drafting / agreeing planning conditions with local authorities / stakeholders.
- Obtaining and reviewing consultation comments and coordinating responses.
- Discharge of pre-construction planning conditions.
Requirements:
- 5
-10 years of experience in a comparable position. - Familiarity with planning regulations and policies in the UK, including TCPA and DCO planning applications.
- Experience of NSIP projects – desirable.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using MS Office applications.

A base salary of up to £90,000 with benefits is on offer depending on experience.
