The work includes lots of non typical solution driven temporary works design in specialist areas, such as major building faade retentions and various complicated London building schemes. You will also be involved in design for hoardings, barriers, formwork, scaffolding hoists, fabrication design, connection design, Cat 3 checks, heavy temporary works and all sorts of exciting challenges.
Projects are usually large buildings schemes on complex sites. The role will include dealing with contractors and visits to sites. The role would suit a forward thinking, flexible and business savvy candidate who is a good communicator and possesses a 'think outside of the box' mindset. The capability to absorb new information, adaptability and problem solving capabilities are key. Projects are always different and often one off solutions are needed.
A 2.1 degree from a good University is preferred. This role is aimed at a candidate with several years of design experience, either in permanent work or temporary works, who is keen to learn and progress their career.
