Job DescriptionAt WSP, you will work on landmark projects across a range of sectors, applying your skills in a collaborative environment. We are looking for graduates with a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in Building Services. As a Building Services Engineer you will design, develop and maintain essential building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and public health services. The role provides hands‑on experience in multidisciplinary teams and mentorship from experienced engineers.

- High‑scale data centres
- Heathrow & Gatwick Airports – departure lounge reconfigurations, pier extensions and baggage system upgrades
- Collaborating with external stakeholders.
- Conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Drafting mechanical or electrical layouts using Revit or AutoCAD and running calculations.
- Reviewing technical drawings and coordinating with other disciplines.
- Supporting senior engineers in preparing tender documents.
- Attending site visits to observe installations or conduct surveys.
- Participating in sustainability assessments (e.g. BREEM).
The two‑year programme offers core business and professional skills training, career development workshops, networking opportunities, mentoring for professional registration and a breadth of on‑the‑job experience. You will be supported to achieve chartered status with IMechE and IET through professional training agreements.
What We Are Looking For- Graduated with at least a 2:2 in a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.

- Ready to research, learn and analyse technologies and operating processes.
- Awareness of specialist building systems (lighting, security, etc.).

- Willing to inspire and share new ideas.
