Senior Quantity Surveyor

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a commercial lead role on high‑profile Transmission & Distribution projects in and around Glasgow. This is not a back‑office QS role; it sits at the heart of delivery, driving cost, value, risk and commercial performance across complex power infrastructure works.

• Major UK T&D frameworks and projects
• Genuine commercial ownership and leadership
• NEC3 / NEC4 environment (Options A &
  
  C)
• High visibility with delivery teams and clients
• Strong project pipeline and long‑term work security

• Leading cost and value management across live projects
• Owning CVRs, forecasting, reporting and client valuations
• Managing change, compensation events and commercial risk
• Driving cash flow, subcontract management and final accounts
• Supporting project teams with strong commercial governance
• Mentoring junior commercial staff and raising performance standards

• Proven Senior QS experience in infrastructure, power, utilities or heavy civils
• Commercially astute, confident and delivery‑focused
• Able to manage multiple work streams and stakeholders
• Degree/HND qualified (chartered or working towards preferred)
