This is the ideal opportunity to join a trusted, eco-conscious multidisciplinary consultancy known for lending their expertise to high-profile projects across landscape architecture, planning, and civil engineering. They are seeking a capable, enthusiastic Senior Civil Engineer with extensive infrastructure design knowledge to lead a newly-established design team based near Glasgow.

• Overseeing the design of a wide array of engineering developments
• Leading aspects of engineering projects from inception through to delivery
• Mentoring and supporting colleagues in their development
• Liaising with clients and stakeholders across the public and private sectors
• Preparing and checking technical reports, specifications, drawings, calculations, risk assessments, and method statements
• Adhering to company policies, procedures, and best practice, upholding health and safety standards at all times
• Acting as a representative at client meetings and site visits

• A Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering
• Chartered status
• Demonstrable experience of working in a design capacity within a UK-based consultancy
• Experience with infrastructure (highways and drainage), housing developments, and energy projects
• Experience of earthworks and drainage network modelling
• Proficient in Civils 3D, Micro Drainage, AutoCAD, and similar software
• Experience writing and amending a variety of reports for submission
• Experience in client and stakeholder liaison
• Excellent organisation, time management, team leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Experience authoring Flood Risk Assessments
• Experience preparing Transport Assessments
• Experience leading projects or teams
• Experience working in a public-facing role
• Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
