We’re looking for an Electrical Design Engineer who can progress in Overhead Line (OHL) infrastructure, providing support to projects across Jacobs’ markets. Your responsibilities include work on transmission system assets, HVDC interconnectors, energy storage systems, inertia systems, wind farms and advanced facilities for mission‑critical industries in the technology and process sectors.

Given the demand for talent in the energy market, we are developing talent from aligned sectors and offer electrical engineers the opportunity to move into the Energy Transition sector. Support and development will be provided if you lack sector experience, or you can hit the ground running on exciting projects if you already know the market.

• Experience with in an electrical discipline and delivering multi‑disciplinary projects (e.g., Rail or Energy & Power)
• Knowledge of power systems such as 25kB AC, 1500V DC, 750V DC
• Educated to HND level or above in electrical engineering
