Location: Glasgow

Salary: Starting from £23,272 with annual progression through the scheme duration.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Use a 3D modelling/CAD Software to design the ship’s structure, internal layouts, as well as the ship’s pipework, electrical & ventilation systems.
• Produce and develop designs in line with specifications and all quality and technical standards.
• Carry out detail design appraisals in assigned areas to ensure all standards are maintained.
• Carry out investigations into operational problems or developments.
• Develop and prepare solutions, either on your own or as a member of a team.

Qualification Requirements – 4 National 5s (or equivalent) at grade C or above which must include Maths (excluding Application of Maths) & English & a Science / Technical subject.
