We are actively recruiting experienced Senior Gas Turbine Technicians willing to relocate to Calgary, Alberta. Immigration and relocation assistance provided.

Trans Canada Turbines (TCT) is the sole authorized overhaul, repair and maintenance service provider for Siemens Energy and General Electric aeroderivative industrial gas turbines. Reporting to the Team Leader, Production, the technician will repair and overhaul GE and/or Siemens (formerly Rolls‑Royce) industrial gas turbines and assist in all aspects of operation in the Trans Canada Turbines test cell.

• Repair and overhaul GE and/or Siemens industrial gas turbines in accordance with OEM manuals, TCT specifications, and standard industry practices.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and assemble components to meet shop production schedules.
• Recommend work scope and tooling based on shop floor observations.
• Coordinate with production control and materials management to facilitate material flow.
• Perform field maintenance, repairs, and inspections on installed units.
• Ensure customer expectations for delivery, cost, quality, and responsiveness are met.
• Collaborate with engine teams to maintain a constructive working environment and high performance.
• Monitor and maintain tooling and equipment, removing defective items from service.
• Recommend tooling and equipment for a gas generator overhaul shop and field service group.
• Maintain safe, health‑conscious facility operations per TCT policies and procedures.
• Propose process and policy improvements to boost productivity and profitability.
• Prepare engines for testing at the Trans Canada Turbines test cell facility.
• Maintain and repair engine test support equipment.
• Test engines according to GE/Siemens test schedules.
• Continue learning HSE policies, maintain positive safety attitude, and champion HSE issues.
• Perform additional duties as directed by Manager, Production.

• Minimum 5 years related experience or equivalent education.
• High School Diploma.
• 4 years experience with Industrial Gas Turbines (GE LM6000, LM2500, Siemens RB211, AVON).
• Mechanical aptitude and strong organizational skills.
• Self‑starter with proactive initiative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem‑solving ability and willingness to learn.
• Strong personal accountability and superior work ethic.
• Successful completion of criminal background check.
• Successful post‑offer medical and drug & alcohol test.
