Position: Administration Waiting List Manager - ENT / Urology

Overview

Shift pattern
:
Monday - Friday (core hours 8-4 / 8:30-4:30 / 9-5). We are recruiting for an Administration & Waiting List Manager to support the delivery of care within our ENT (citywide) and Urology (South) services.

Responsibilities

This role involves overseeing patient scheduling across clinics and theatres, managing waiting times in line with Scottish Government standards, monitoring and managing waiting list performance and leading a team of administrative staff. The post sits within a busy surgical specialty where clear communication and strong coordination skills are essential. You will work closely with clinical and managerial colleagues to ensure services run efficiently and patients are seen in a timely and well-organised manner.

Applicants must have experience in managing complex administrative systems, ideally in a healthcare setting, and a working knowledge of the NHS GGC access policy and the National Cancer Waiting time policies.

As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata.
