Practice Administrators

Due to a member of staff retiring and another member of staff going on maternity leave, our practice is looking to recruit two Practice Administrators to join our experienced team of reception staff.

Both positions are permanent posts:

27 hours per week

21 hours per week
,

worked on various days per week

The key responsibilities of these roles will include:

• Dealing with patient enquiries both in person and over the phone
• Signposting patients to the appropriate healthcare professional or service
• Processing clinical mail accurately and efficiently
• Handling and preparing repeat prescription requests
• Contributing to a positive team environment while also being confident working independently.

The ideal candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be well organised with good attention to detail, and be confident using IT systems.

Previous experience working in a GP setting would be advantageous, although not essential, as full training will be provided.

Candidates must also be flexible to provide holiday and absence cover when required.
