About FourplyFourply Ltd is a joinery-led refurbishment contractor established in 2001 and now celebrating 25 years in business.
We specialise in refurbishment, minor works, passive fire protection and maintenance across live environments including healthcare, retail and commercial sectors.
We have numerous long-standing relationships with national clients - a reflection of our focus on quality, compliance and trusted delivery.
We are now seeking an additional Contracts Manager to help grow our revenue and expand our customer base alongside our existing management team.
The OpportunityThis is not just a delivery role.
We are looking for a technically competent construction professional who also has a commercial mindset - someone who can manage projects confidently while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Reporting Directly To The Managing Director, You Will- Manage and develop your own client portfolio
- Proactively generate and convert new business leads
- Contribute to revenue growth
- Strengthen and expand client relationships
- Deliver refurbishment and minor works projects to a high standard
This role offers autonomy, visibility and genuine influence within the business.
Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial & Growth Focus
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop relationships with decision-makers
- Convert enquiries into secured projects with the support of estimators/quantity surveyors
- Support framework and tender submissions
- Identify opportunities within existing accounts
- Contribute to revenue and margin targets
Contract & Project Management
- Survey and scope projects for pricing
- Plan and programme works effectively
- Manage labour, materials and subcontractors
- Monitor commercial performance and WIP
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Maintain high standards of quality and compliance
- Trade background or strong technical construction knowledge
- Experience in refurbishments, maintenance or minor works environments
- Commercial awareness with the confidence to pursue new opportunities
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
- Organised, self-motivated and target-driven
- Full UK driving licence
- Trade Qualification/degree And/or Sufficient Construction Experience Preferred.
- 25-year established, financially stable business
- Strong repeat client base with excellent reputation
- Accredited to FIRAS, BM TRADA Q-Mark, NICEIC and ISO standards
- Established estimating and commercial support structure
- Direct reporting line to Managing Director
- Genuine influence over growth strategy
- Clear pathway to senior leadership progression
