We’re currently recruiting an experienced Groundworks Foreman on behalf of a well‑established commercial groundworks and landscaping contractor delivering projects across the Central Belt, including Glasgow and Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity for a working foreman, with the option to bring a full squad, to join a contractor with a strong and consistent pipeline of work.

This is a hands‑on Foreman position, where you’ll be leading from the front while overseeing site operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising day‑to‑day groundworks activities on site
• Leading and motivating a team to deliver work to programme and specification
• Coordinating with site management, subcontractors, and clients
• Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times
• Reading and working from drawings and plans
• Completing basic site paperwork and records

• SSSTS certification
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong background across all aspects of groundworks
• Confident reading and interpreting drawings
• Ability to lead a team while taking direction from site management
• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
