Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Finishing Site Manager to oversee and drive the completion phase of a live construction project based in Glasgow City Centre. This role will focus on managing all finishing trades, ensuring quality standards are met, and delivering the project to programme.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and coordinate all finishing trades on site

* Oversee internal finishes including joinery, decoration, glazing repairs flooring, ceilings

* Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards

* Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging processes

* Coordinate subcontractors and manage daily activity on site

* Maintain site records, RAMS reviews, and progress reporting

* Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks

* Liaise with the Project Manager and client representatives

* Ensure health & safety compliance at all times

Essential Requirements

* Proven experience as a Finishing Site Manager on commercial or shop fitting projects

* Strong track record delivering projects through completion and handover

* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – Essential

* Valid First Aid Certificate – Essential

* CSCS Card (Black or Gold preferred)

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* Ability to drive programme and maintain quality standards

Desirable

* Experience working on city centre projects

* Strong eye for detail and quality control

* Experience managing high-end finishes
