Site Manager

Position: Site Manager (Permanent)
We are working with a well-established and highly respected civil engineering and infrastructure contractor to assist them in hiring a Site Manager for their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business delivering critical infrastructure works across Scotland. The role offers long-term security, exposure to complex and rewarding projects, and the chance to play a key part in the successful delivery of works on site. Applications are welcomed from experienced Site Managers looking to take the next step, as well as Senior Site Managers seeking a fresh challenge.

As the Site Manager / Senior Site Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Overall management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget

* Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers

* Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards

* Planning and managing works in line with programme requirements

* Liaising with project management, engineering and commercial teams

* Maintaining accurate site records, reports and progress updates

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

* Proven experience in a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager role within civil engineering or infrastructure projects

* Strong leadership and people management skills

* Excellent knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practice

* Ability to manage programmes, resources and multiple stakeholders effectively

* Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid - or equivalent)
