2. Your New Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a pivotal role in the commercial delivery of a major construction project. You’ll lead on cost management, subcontractor procurement, valuations, and contractual compliance across key packages of work. Working closely with project managers, clients, and stakeholders, you’ll ensure financial performance is optimised while maintaining the highest standards of governance and reporting.
You’ll also support and mentor junior QS staff, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
3. What You'll Need to Succeed Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. Proven experience in a Senior QS role within a Tier 1 contractor. Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts and public sector frameworks. Demonstrable experience delivering large-scale construction projects Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong commercial acumen.
