This will include practical quantity surveying tasks and activities, actions to support colleagues and appropriate administrative duties one would associate with commercial / quantity surveying practices in relation to construction projects. Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor, this role will allow you to gain hands-on relevant experience to learn more about the projects and develop your commercial skills. About you Ideally, you'll have some academic or vocational experience of the construction industry and have a passion for a career within Quantity Surveying.
You'll need to be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, a strong attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills. The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential for this role. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is also a must. You'll be an ambitious individual with long term goals to help take the organisation to the next phase of its evolution and be open to additional development to further your commercial knowledge.
