We are currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the role will offer training, mentoring and career development opportunities. This role can be based at either our Glasgow or Almondvale Office however Hybrid working is available.
Responsibilities- Prepare, price and submit tenders to a high quality.
- Apply full analytical estimating knowledge.
- Prepare contract preliminaries.
- Work independently and settle quickly into this challenging role.
- Demonstrated track record in preparing, pricing and submitting tenders.
- Experience predominantly within a fitout / housing / general construction environment.
- At least HND level education with a strong understanding of estimating issues.
- Robust commercial acumen with negotiation skills and ability to liaise with clients, consultants, architects, suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and teamwork ability.
You will be a dedicated Estimator with a background in the achievement of multiple tender wins. While an analytical approach and excellent time management skills are imperative, the successful candidate will demonstrate drive and energy to continually improve our business success rate.
Remuneration- Competitive salary dependent on experience
