As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our Commercial team with a Business Development Manager based at one of our offices in Scotland on a hybrid basis.
The RoleThis is a dynamic, client-facing position focused on driving revenue growth, building strategic relationships and securing new business across our service portfolio.
You’ll play a key role in identifying opportunities, shaping commercial strategy and positioning Natural Power as a professional, accountable and value-driven partner.
Key Responsibilities Opportunity Development- Develop a strong understanding of Natural Power’s full service offering and sales proposition.
- Generate new business through client engagement, networking, market intelligence and industry events.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through proactive outreach, meetings and follow-up activity.
- Promote cross-service solutions aligned to client needs.
- Take ownership of defined client accounts, building trusted relationships at all levels.
- Develop detailed account plans for Key and Strategic Accounts, identifying structure, strategy and growth opportunities.
- Expand our client base by securing new customers.
- Act as a primary point of contact, bringing in technical experts and senior leaders where appropriate to enhance client value.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities.
- Contribute insight to refine and strengthen sales propositions.
- Forecast order intake and support revenue planning.
- Analyse market trends and customer requirements to inform business strategy.
- Build long-term stakeholder relationships that enhance Natural Power’s market position.
- Work closely with bid and delivery teams to ensure alignment from pursuit through to execution.
- Be accountable for achieving agreed sales and revenue targets.
- Support the commercial approach to bids, ensuring proposals align with client strategy and objectives.
- Assist with negotiations and contract closure, escalating complex matters when required.
- Maintain accurate records within the CRM system.
- Provide regular pipeline updates and forecasting reports.
- Share customer insights and best practice across the business.
