Overview
Procurement Manager – Permanent, Full Time (37 hours a week). Hybrid working (one day a week on-site minimum). Salary: £51,000 - £55,000. This is a UK based role, and you are required to have the Right to Work in the UK.
Morgan Hunt are delighted to work with one of our great clients in Dundee who are looking to welcome a new Procurement Manager on a full time and permanent basis.
Responsibilities- Lead the Procurement function, ensuring legal compliance and best value.
- Manage tenders, contracts, supplier performance and the contracts register.
- Lead, develop and support the procurement team.
- Work with external stakeholders to deliver collaborative procurement.
- Develop and maintain the Procurement Strategy, managing legislative change and risk.
- Produce procurement data, reports and insights to support senior decision-making.
- Public Sector Procurement experience needed (recent or in the past)
- CIPS (any level)
- Motivated and high professional standards
- Excellent communicator across different stakeholders
- Ability to work successfully in a team
- Desirable if you have led and managed a team currently/previously
