Role Overview

Davies are looking to recruit an experienced Administrator to join our growing Casualty team. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in Administration, have good time management and the ability to prioritise their workload effectively.

What will your day look like
  • Monitor and manage online portals, download documentation and attach to correct files.
  • Review Excel enquiry spreadsheets, cross‑check against our internal data to confirm any potential matches and carry out further investigations.
  • Review and update monthly bordereaux and ensure data analysis is correct before issuing to the client.
  • Answer telephone calls as required and deal with general enquiries.
  • Photocopy or scan documents.
  • Perform other tasks to support the business plan as and when necessary to ensure company objectives are met.
Knowledge and Abilities
  • A good standard of written English.
  • Previous experience of working in an administration role.
  • Familiarity with standard office packages such as Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy in data input and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and resilient, seeking to get things done and at the same time managing a variety of tasks.
  • Provide solutions rather than problems – shows initiative.
  • Able to demonstrate effective management of time and resources.
  • Able to identify when guidance is required from other team members for decision making.
  • Can demonstrate evidence of being an effective team member, interacting positively with colleagues, and communicating effectively with a diverse group of people.
  • Willingness to be closely supervised, when necessary, to ensure accuracy and compliance with varied client processes.
  • Able to demonstrate effective customer service skills, actively seeking and responding to feedback.
