Highway Barrier Solutions are specialist in vehicle restrain systems (VRS) and traffic management services. Operating across Northern Ireland and Scotland,HBSprovides the complete service to our clients.

HBShas a skilled in-house workforce and the required specialist plant required to provide these services. In addition, they have strategically placed depots In Northern Island - Belfast and Ballymoney plus Scotland – Bonnybridge, Shotts, Lockerbie and Perth.

About the role of Office Administrator

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Office Administrator to join our team  successful candidate will be reporting to the office in Shotts.

Specific

Job Responsibilities:
  • Undertake key administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage travel arrangements for workers
  • Assist with the onboarding process for the workers
  • Accurate filing and storing of workers data (paper and electronic)
  • Promote the company’s values across the site
  • Contribute to projects when required
  • Implement the Vehicle and Plant maintenance plan
  • Undertake other duties as and when required
What good looks like for an Office Administrator
  • Have a right to work in the UK
  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Experience of working in a busy environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages particularly, Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple requirements and demands effectively.
What else looks good for an Office Administrator
  • Engineering or Construction background (Desirable not essential)
  • Live within travelling distance to Shotts
  • Full UK Driving Licence
