The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Management Team and Clinical Directors (CDs) within Medical Specialties, Endoscopy and Gastroenterology. This key role ensures the smooth running of day-to-day operations and enables the Management Team to focus on clinical and strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level PA and secretarial support to the Management Team and CDs, including complex diary management, meeting coordination, and minute-taking.
- Prepare correspondence, reports and presentations to a high standard.
- Act as a first point of contact for internal and external enquiries, demonstrating professionalism and discretion.
- Maintain accurate records and manage confidential information in line with NHS policies.
- Support the organisation and delivery of departmental projects and events.
- Liaise with clinical and non‑clinical staff, patients and external partners as required.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive information.
- Experience working within the NHS or a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of NHS systems and procedures.
- Experience supporting senior managers or clinical leaders.
