IT Administrator​/Receptionist GP Practice

• Provide day-to-day IT support for clinical and admin staff
• Maintain and troubleshoot PCs, printers, and network connections
• Manage user accounts and ensure secure access to clinical systems (e.g., EMIS, Engage GP online Consult, Mjog)
• Liaise with external IT providers for specialist support when needed
• Keep simple documentation of systems and processes
• Offer staff guidance on IT best practices

• Greet patients and handle telephone enquiries professionally
• Book, amend, and manage appointments using clinical systems
• Process prescription requests and direct queries appropriately
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with GDPR/NHS standards
• Assist with general administrative tasks to support the practice team

• Previous IT support experience (ideally in healthcare or small business)
• Good knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent customer service and organisational skills

• Familiarity with GP clinical systems (EMIS, Docman, Engage GP Online Consultation, Mjog)
• Understanding of GDPR and NHS data security standards
• Experience in a reception or patient-facing role
