London Salary Guide: £345 - £425 Per Day Our client, a global media business is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team for an initial 8 months contract, with a potential of being extended. In addition to preparing the statutory accounts, the role involves quarter-end and ad-hoc project work. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant able to quickly jump into a dynamic hands-on role.

Starting January 2026. Description The responsibilities of the Temporary Financial Accounting Manager include, but are not limited to:
Manage the audit process and prepare the statutory accounts and tax packs for 6 entities. Business partner with the auditors to ensure the audit progresses smoothly. Prepare the statutory long range forecast for use in group impairment testing. Calculate adjustments required to convert accounts from US GAAP to UK GAAP. Prepare the tax calculations for all entities and respond to queries from the internal tax team.

Assist the monthly and quarterly close process. Calculate and process recharges including intercompany royalties and management fees. Support the quarterly balance sheet reconciliations and reviews. Reconcile management reporting profit numbers and final statutory profit numbers for presentation to the executive team. Skills The skills of the Temporary Financial Accounting Manager include, but are not limited to:
Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) from Big 4 with at least 1-2 years post-qualified experience. Previous experience preparing multi-currency statutory accounts. Experience working with SAP is desirable. Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a dynamic, evolving environment. Apply
