Senior Accountancy Recruitment Consultant

Iconic Resourcing are delighted to be partnering with an exciting and market leading manufacturing firm based in Glasgow in their search for an Accountant to join their growing finance team.

Working as part of a collaborative and growing global finance team, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and provide essential support across multiple international entities. This role offers genuine exposure to all aspects of financial accounting and reporting within a listed business, giving you the platform to develop and accelerate your career.

Our client is seeking a newly qualified or experienced part-qualified accountant ready to make a high impact.

• Assisting with the production of monthly, quarterly, and year-end management accounts to meet reporting deadlines
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet accounts across UK and European entities
• Posting accounting entries and managing month-end adjustments including accruals and deferrals
• Processing and allocating customer receipts against outstanding invoices
• Creating comprehensive process documentation and procedures manuals
• Liaising with external auditors and preparing schedules for statutory audits in the EMEA region
• Managing payroll accounting entries and employee expense processing
• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of internal controls
• Assisting with various finance projects and initiatives as required

Our client is seeking a newly qualified or highly experienced part-qualified accountant to join their growing team. A willingness to get stuck in and support the wider business is key alongside the accounting knowledge commensurate with this level of role.
