Eden Scott Accountancy & Finance Division are delighted to be supporting a successful and friendly accountancy practice in Glasgow as they look to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant. You’ll be involved in:

• Preparing accounts for a varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Assisting with corporation tax and VAT returns
• Supporting the completion of self‑assessment tax returns
• Reconciling accounts and assisting with balance sheet schedules
• Liaising with clients to resolve queries and maintain strong relationships
• Supporting audit preparation and compliance requirements

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience in accounts preparation within practice
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical ability and problem‑solving skills
• Confident communication skills and the ability to work well with clients
• Solid IT literacy and comfort with finance systems
