What You’ll Do
  • Lead and coordinate engineering functions and operations including quality assurance, testing, production, and research and development of new and existing product lines.
  • Facilitate communication among project managers and engineers to ensure specifications, budgets, and deadlines are clearly communicated and understood.
  • Act as product owner for multiple projects, creating timelines and cost projections, organizing collaborative meetings, and ensuring projects comply with specifications, timelines, and budgets.
  • Serve as project engineer for multiple projects, creating submittal documents, part numbers, BOMs, manufacturing drawings, and packing plans as needed.
  • Implement and maintain administrative policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of new trends, developments, technologies, materials, and best practices to continually improve product lines and production efficiency.
  • Assist in product testing and evaluation, including use of FEA software tools.
  • Evaluate construction specifications and provide product recommendations to meet project requirements.
  • Assist in the development of whitepapers supporting the use of raised access flooring and structural containment and related products.
  • Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact on quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies; report issues to proper personnel.
Additional Expectations
  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies, including the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, laws, regulations, and market demands.
  • Be responsible for tasks to achieve compliance goals within the Compliance Management System.
  • Raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to a supervisor, manager, Leadership Team member, or via the confidential whistle blower service.
What You’ll Bring
  • 4-year degree in Engineering with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Zero to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience completing electrical infrastructure surveys; measurement is a plus.
  • General knowledge of server technology and associated hardware.
  • Understanding of cooling technologies and strategies to condition the Data Center environment.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Teams).
  • 3D modeling experience required. Onshape and Solid Works preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
