We are seeking resumes for Maintenance Reliability-Electrical Co-ops (Multiple Openings for Fall 2026) at our Gladstone, VA. Paper Mill.
Responsibilities:
- Provide process optimization and engineering support for the mill, including compliance process coordination, lean projects, quality and product safety, and analytical and systems support.
- Develop and maintain methods for tracking and reducing operational costs.
- Coordinate the efforts of our outside resources to improve our operation by filtering and utilizing appropriate information.
- Conduct data analysis projects and use data to make business decisions.
- Assignments may include higher-level work for training and development purposes.
- Success requires knowledge of pulp & paper making, wastewater treatment, and recovery operations. Interest/aptitude in controls.
Basic Qualifications:
- Student in good standing, currently enrolled majoring in Maintenance Reliability Electrical or equivalent applicable engineering program.
- Completed the Freshman year or will complete it when the co‑op begins and expresses interest in Pulp and Paper Manufacturing as a career.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Pass drug screen.
- Eligible to work in the US full‑time.

- Work well under pressure and within time constraints, multi‑task, build solid relationships with internal and external customers.
- Excellent communication, analytical, organizational and computer skills.
- Capable of independently making sound decisions through creative problem‑solving, ambiguity, and change.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.
- Read and understand technical correspondence, memos, instructions and reports.

PAY & BENEFITSSalary Range:
- $30.00/hr for Seniors
- $29.00/hr for Juniors
- $1,000.00 Monthly Housing Stipend

- 1.5x pay over 40 hours in a week
