IT Project Manager
Job Description
Lead development of project strategy, stakeholder engagement, oversee operations. Looking for someone to work on a project that combines Security, Quality Assurance, Business Processes, Technical Architecture, and Data Governance.
This position oversees all aspects of the program life cycle, using a formal program management methodology and the appropriate tools to develop a program plan, budget, risk management approach, and schedule. An individual serving in this role is responsible for coordination of all program-related activities, including directing/managing the program and consulting on Business/Strategy, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities to members serving on the program team, and communicating status and issues to stakeholders and IT management.
Experienceand Skills Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering Management or equivalent work experience in related discipline.
- Preferred 8 - 10 years of experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale IT systems, with 3 or more years in a Program Management role.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to work effectively as a leader in a team environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A solid background in system design techniques, testing, implementation, release and version control, and training approaches.
