Gladstone offers stipends for classified staff based on educational experience. Initial salary placement is per the Classified salary schedule and determined by experience.

General DescriptionResponsible for organizing and supervising students in social situations (i.e. recess, lunch room, library supervision). More specific duties may be assigned by the building administrator based on building needs.
Minimum Qualifications- Sound oral and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent documentation.
- Second language skills desirable.
- Sound reading and speaking skills in English.
- Emotional and physical stamina to perform the duties assigned to this position.
- Ability to exercise tact, patience and courtesy when working with students, staff, parents and the community.
- Strong interpersonal/human relations skills.
- Experience in a school setting desirable.
- Experience incorporating the perspectives of multiple communities, including communities of color, in the consideration of impacts and outcomes of a decision-making process.
- Other qualifications as may be established by the District.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Supervise students in a variety of settings.
- Assist students in behavior management as directed by supervisor.
- Follow confidentiality guidelines of the District.
- Adhere to policies and procedures of the District.
- Conform to building regulations and employment rules.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Capable of working with and providing curricula to students of various ages in small group settings or individually.
- Able to communicate with parents by phone, email and in person.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in organizing and supervising children.
