Immediate Opportunities:
Full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Drivers

• Average annual compensation: $71,705.40

• $5,000 retention bonus

• Local, home daily

• Quarterly safety bonus

• Hazmat endorsement required. The driver must acquire an endorsement within 30 days of the hire date. Reimbursement provided.

You will drive:

• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing straight trucks with lift-gates
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort
• XM Radio in all trucks

What you will do:

• Deliver automobile parts to retail stores
• Unload palletized freight with pallet jack
• Scan product upon delivery

Schedule:

• Tuesday through Saturday
• AM dispatch time around 12:30 am
• Two consecutive days off per week

• Valid Class B CDL with Airbrake endorsement required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• English language proficiency required to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Work the required schedule, work at the specified location, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company; ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must take responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.

• Vision and hearing required. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Frequent movement: stand, walk, sit; use hands to touch, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
