Job DescriptionPosition Purpose: Cashiers play a critical customer service role by providing customers with fast, friendly, accurate and safe service. They process Checkout and/or Return transactions, monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area, and seek product knowledge to assist customers and identify selling opportunities. They follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink. A Head Cashier supports Cashiers by expediting price checks, approving transactions and markdowns, and assisting in supervising, coaching, and training other Front End Associates, including new Cashiers.
The preferred qualification for a Head Cashier is 1+ years of Cashier experience.
