Key Responsibilities of the Head of PE:

Lead and manage the PE department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
Develop and deliver an engaging PE curriculum that promotes physical fitness and teamwork.
Organise extracurricular sports activities and events to enrich student experience.
Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students.
Requirements for the Head of PE role:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Proven experience teaching PE and leading a department or team.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
A passion for promoting health, fitness, and wellbeing among young people.
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
