Asphalt Yard Loader Operator Overnight

Full-time, seasonal position with overtime and occasional weekends during peak season. The Loader Operator will move material, stockpile, and load trucks. The position may require travel and overtime. The Loader Operator reports to the Foreman, has no supervisory responsibility, and may travel to various job locations as needed.

• Operate loader moving material, stockpiling, and loading trucks for scaling.
• Operate the loader in a safe and productive manner.
• Complete pre- and post-shift inspection and other required paperwork.
• Fuel, grease, maintain and help service other equipment.
• Operate and maintain other equipment if needed.
• Work well with crew members and take directions from the supervisor.
• Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours).

• Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.
• Use hand tools to maintain and repair equipment.
• Transportation to and from work and travel to various job locations as needed.
• Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal.
• Dependability and reliability by showing up to scheduled shifts on time and being prepared for work.
• A positive attitude is critical to ensure productive working relationships with co-workers and management.
• Continuous exposure to weather elements including heat, cold, noise, dusty conditions, and working outdoors.
