Explosive Expert

Black Water Environmental is a leading energy service company specializing in onsite facility maintenance. services include vac trucks, labors , hydro-vac, hydro blasting, sandblasting, Controlled Explosive Blast Cleaning.

This is a full-time, on-site Explosive Expert role located in Gillette, WY. The Explosive Expert will be responsible for handling, storing, and deploying explosive materials per safety regulations and project requirements. Day-to-day tasks include assessing site conditions, implementing safety protocols, preparing and executing controlled detonations, and maintaining compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations. Collaboration with team members and clear communication with supervisors and stakeholders will also be required.

• Comprehensive knowledge of explosive handling, detonation techniques, and safety protocols
• Experience in conducting site assessments and implementing safety measures
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure
• Ability to follow and enforce strict compliance with all industry and governmental safety regulations
• Attention to detail and technical skills to manage and utilize required equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate with various stakeholders
• Formal training and certification in explosive handling and safety practices
• Previous experience in industrial or military applications involving explosive materials is a plus
