DESCRIPTION

Overview: The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. The Associate acquires and maintains knowledge of the products represented, prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies, and intercepts consumers to demonstrate products in a professional manner. The Associate maintains a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.

Pay Rate: $15.00‑$16.00 per hour

• Possess the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
• Actively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.
• Properly set up and prepare the Event Table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
• Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.

Note: This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may change the role based on business needs.

  High school diploma, GED, or one to three months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  Proficient with personal computer or mobile device applications and internal systems.
• Certificates: Local food handler’s permit may be required.
• Physical Demands: Stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach overhead up to 65 inches; talk and hear; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully loaded; prepare foods using required appliances; maintain contact with cleaning supplies.

• Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
• Physical Appearance: Maintain a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance. Dress code requirements are included in training documents.
