Who We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for conducting in-process and final inspections of cable and harness assemblies, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, industry standards and internal quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect cable and wire harness assemblies at various stages of production.
- Verify compliance with drawings, schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), and customer requirements.
- Utilize inspection tools such as magnifiers, continuity testers, calipers, and micrometers.
- Document inspection results and report non-conformances.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in accordance with quality management systems.
- Ensure adherence to ESD and workmanship standards.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
Skills / Qualifications
- Experience working with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC J-STD-001
(Knowledge of NASA-STD-8739.1 standards a plus!) - Strong attention to detail, organization, time management and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and report discrepancies
What We Offer:
- $68,000 - $72,000 per year based on experience
- Comprehensive benefits package consisting of Medical, Dental and Vision. Praxis Resources contributes 95% of the cost for employees and dependents. Eligibility is 1st of the month following date of hire
