Northeast Indiana Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (NIVES) is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Emergency Veterinarian Mentee to join our collaborative, team-focused hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We have a minimum of 2 Emergency Veterinarians and 8 support staff (2-3 receptionists, 2-3 treatment technicians and 3 dedicated ICU technicians) per shift.

We are seeking future veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our 6‑month training and mentorship program. We are looking for individuals who are team oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable.

The ER Immerse Program will prepare veterinarians for a sustainable and satisfying career in emergency medicine. Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs, the ERi program has been developed around a curriculum of core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian.
