Eye Care for Animals is seeking a Full-time Veterinary Technician Assistant (30+ hours) to join our team in Gilbert, Arizona. Practice hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Our ideal candidate is someone who likes to work hard and strives to provide excellent customer service.

• Assist with exam rooms as needed, including taking patient histories
• Maintenance and cleaning of exam rooms
• Maintenance and cleaning of office, kennels and the surgical suite (including surgical setup)
• Animal restraint
• Handling/packing of sterilized surgical instruments
• Client communications including the review of medication and discharge instructions
• Cross-trained in front office duties to include answering the phone, refilling medications and checking clients in/out

• Team player
• Eager to learn and is self-motivated
• Enjoys a challenging and fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task with a smile
