Copper Springs in Gilbert, Arizona, is a 72-bed behavioral health hospital. It offers both inpatient and outpatient programs for mental health and addition for adults, and seniors. The facility provides a range of treatments for mental health and addiction issues. How you'll contribute
A Nurse Manager who excels in this role:
* Manages the daily operations of the assigned department functioning to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.
* Responsible for the direction of patient care with the assigned scope.
* Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
* Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
* Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
* Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
* May provide patient care when necessary.
* Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
* Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing, valid driver's license preferred.
* CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.
* Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
* Two years' leadership experience preferred.
