Job Summary

As a Charge Nurse at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center you will oversee a department of frontline nurses caring for patients. Your previous acute‑care experience adds tremendous value to our nursing team.

• Lead and mentor your team of nurses.
• Ensure direct reports and the department deliver the best care to patients.
• Maintain high engagement on the floor, connecting with nurses, patients, and families.
• Attend leadership meetings to learn about new initiatives and share updates.
• Monitor productivity and efficiency of the department.
• Support team members through 1:1 and group communication, including tough conversations.

• Two (2) years RN experience within the applicable clinical specialty.
• ADN, Diploma, or foreign equivalent.
• Current AZ State RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS healthcare provider card.
• American Heart Association ACLS obtained within six months of hire.

• BSN.
• Charge Nurse experience.
• Previous experience with personal computers.

$42.85 – $63.77 per hour.
