How you'll contribute
  • Assist the administration staff in overseeing and supporting all staff to ensure the provision of quality general and psychiatric care to patients suffering from substance abuse or psychiatric disorders.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day activities of staff in all CCD and nursing areas and assist department managers with scheduling, education, and discipline of staff when needed.
  • Perform direct patient care, education, and training, and participate in departmental and hospital meetings as assigned.
  • Review documentation and work with staff to ensure it is timely, accurate, and complete.
  • Serve as a working RN and routinely execute nursing care duties to ensure quality patient care and proper execution and documentation of the treatment plan.
What we're looking for
  • Education:

    Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Experience:

    Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred. Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations.
  • License:
    Current, unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing; valid driver’s license preferred.
  • Additional requirements:

    BLS certification and de‑escalation training within 30 days; must be at least 21 years of age; may be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
