Overview
We are seeking a Video Marketing Assistant to join our team at our Corporate office. The Video Marketing Assistant is responsible for editing high-quality, engaging video content tailored for social media platforms. This role requires not only strong technical editing skills but also an understanding of social media trends, audience behavior, and platform-specific best practices to ensure content performs well and supports NOVA’s marketing goals.
This position is fully on-site and may be based at any of NOVA® Home Loans’ metro Phoenix locations.

Responsibilities- Edit and produce engaging, trend-aware videos optimized for social platforms to increase audience engagement. (Instagram, Facebook, You Tube, Tik Tok, Linked In).
- Stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends to ensure content remains fresh, relevant, and engaging.
- Support in filming and content production.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align video and social content with overall brand goals.
- Maintain familiarity with marketing compliance-related policies and procedures.
- Schedule and publish video content across social platforms in alignment with campaign calendars as needed.
- Track and report on key social media metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, click-through rates) and use insights to improve content performance.
- Develop and write engaging copy for social media post captions to drive engagement as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of professional video editing experience; portfolio work and demonstrated skills or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced knowledge of video editing software (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, Cap Cut, Canva, Captions Ai, etc.).
- Experience creating social-first content that aligns with platform trends and best practices (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In, You Tube).
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to adapt to trends in digital marketing.
- High school diploma or GED required;
Associate degree preferred but not required.
