We handle the full rage (3" - 64" +) of ductile iron pipe. We are licensed applicators of Protecto 401 Ceramic Epoxy and Ceramapure PL90 linings and we do it all while treating our customers just as we would want to be treated. From our headquarters in Leeds, Alabama, and facilities in Arizona and Virginia, we're known nationwide as the largest provider of porcelain glass-lined ductile iron piping systems.

The Saw Operator is responsible for safely and accurately cutting ductile iron, steel, or other materials according to specifications. This position ensures materials are cut to precise measurements while maintaining the highest standards, production efficiency, and workplace safety. This role is SO Important. Our Saw Operators are responsible for following a quality of checks and safety standards while being attentive to detail.

This role works closely with other departments across our operations while understanding their department process and the same quality of standards being upheld.

• MUST know how to read a tape measure, the smallest details really matter.
• Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, calipers, and other precision tools as needed.
• Able to add and subtract simple fractions in this role.
• Operate band saws or other industrial cutting equipment to cut metal materials to specified lengths.
• Operate forklifts, hoist, and other equipment safely.
• Inspect material prior to cutting to ensure compliance and quality of standards are set in place.
• Assisting in loading, unloading, and staging materials as needed.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production needs.
• Maintaining accurate records and proper labeling of cut materials.
• Follow all safety, quality, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• High school diploma or GED Preferred.
• Previous experience operating industrial saw equipment.
• Ability to read a Tape Measure accurately, each time – this is so important!
• Knowledge in Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements).
• Preferred previous experience in pipe fabrication or steel manufacturing.
• Experience in an Industrial, warehouse, or heavy machinery environment is a plus!
• VERY attentive to details.
• Must be self-motivated, takes pride in your work, and knows there is always something to do.
• STRONG safety awareness for yourself and others, no exceptions.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and/or heavy equipment - Certification is a plus!

• Exposure to the outside elements and louder environment at times. (Dust, noise, and heat)
• Ability to bend and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds or more with the proper equipment.
